Based on a True Story of an all Black Prominant Girls Boarding School in 40's & 50's

some parts have been altered to fit into todays society




I. Founded by the Women's Home Missionary Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church to educate former slaves and their descendants eventually became a boarding School in the 40’s and 50’s for prominent Black Girls from kindergarten to twelth grade in Jacksonville Florida. With Black, White, Hispanic, Asian and hearing impaired Teacher and students from all over the world going through all the problems that kids in 2012 face but with different attitudes of grace and elegance and a different kind of respect for parents, teachers, counselors and adults in general.

  1. Pros: These girls are learning Etiquette to the highest degree as they all are groomed and expected to graduate from high school and become very successful. Teachers and school try and work through problems, an help each other work it out. Glee Club Team, Debate Team, Student Government Team, Sports, Courting, traveling
  2. Cons: Bullying/mean girls, smoke cigarettes, sneaking out at night, dating, troubled lesbian students and Teacher, suicide, mental illness, obsession overdose over older man, rape, incest, hearing impaired, loss of fortune cover-up, 1-little-English/Spanish speaking only-students rebel against having to learn Spanish for her, double mastectomy, kidney transplant, Not being able to call home or go home but a few times a year to keep from being home sick especially the very young.
  3. There are some families that can’t afford to go to BHA so them or their family member work there to pay for school

 

  1. Cast Girls from prominent or entertainment family to be the BHA Girl.

When girls go home to visit Families it will be film in Black and White in order for homes to look and feel authentic to the 40’s and 50”s. BH Girls will act like BH Girls in the 40’s and 50’s at home until BHG gets into an argument with someone from their family. BHG will get dizzy and will here strange music (a great special affects takes place) EW suit will change and he will chaperon girls thru time zone of the 2012 thru there life now. GBH is trying to focus but can’t until she is a 2012 girl from prominent family inside the same home but home very real and in color to be authentic to 2012. BHG has same argument with parents but this time the parents will be authentic 2012 family. The 2012 authentic girl will do a scene from a real life. When BH girl gets to out of control in there homes he will take them back to being BH Girls of the 40’s and 50’s again and they will go back to school and will not remember a thing only dream

   3. After closing in Jacksonville It was turned into an apartment complex and a co-ed 

      school called lan Boylan Haven-Mather Academy opened in Camden SC
